Library
Welcome to the Jefferson Library!
About Our Library
My mission is to make the library an inviting and safe place for every student, where they can check out a book and lose themselves in an imaginary world.
Jefferson maintains a diverse collection of books and there is a book in the library for everyone. Come in and enjoy the power of reading.
You will be visiting the library once to twice a week, where you will be checking out books, learning library skills, and doing fun STEM activities.

Meet your librarian
Hello, I am Mrs. Rhoades, your librarian here at Jefferson.
I moved from Arizona to Idaho in 1997 and I have been with the district since 1998 starting at Garfield as a playground supervisor and moved over to Jefferson in 2003 as the librarian.
I am married with 3 children and 1 grandbaby. I love to read, be outdoors, hiking, gardening, and playing with my grandson. I love animals and have had the opportunity to raise and be around a lot of exotic animals. My favorite was a White-handed Gibbon named Monty and a Spider Monkey named Mowgli. I have dogs, cats, Bengal cats, chickens, African Grey, and a Sulcata Tortoise.

District Library Policies
Several Board-adpoted policies inform how materials are added and removed from library collections. The links below point to the most current versions of these documents within the Board of Trustees Policy Manual.
